In this course, students will learn the basics of "StoryAsking & Storytelling" a method for teaching children through stories. We are all aware of the what and why of storytelling, this course is about the HOW! Students will learn how to teach children to build up their listening, reading, writing, and speaking fluency through stories. TPR Storytelling is a research-based method for teaching foreign languages that is both effective and engaging. It is based on the principles of comprehensible input, repetition, and student motivation. TPR Storytelling combines Total Physical Response (TPR) with second-language reading and storytelling activities to help students learn a foreign language in a fun and educational way.In this course, you will learn the basics of TPR Storytelling and how to use it in your classroom.
